MUSI 340 - Music History I


Music development from pre-Christian times through the Classical era; musical examples and practice in stylistic analysis. Music is studied within a framework of cultural context. Music major Music Theory, Literature, and History course.

Prerequisites: MUSI 131 - Music Analysis II , MUSI 133 - Aural Skills in Music II , and MUSI 339 - Music Literature .
