MUSI 349 - Cantoria, Upper Division

Advanced mixed choral ensemble with frequent local and regional performances. Study of repertoire from Renaissance to the present with special emphasis on diverse a cappella literature and stylistically informed performance. By audition. May be repeated for credit. Student must pass jury examination into upper division on his or her major instrument. Music major Applied Music course.

Prerequisites: 4 credits of MUSI 145 - Chorus, MUSI 146 - Orchestra, MUSI 147 - Ensemble, or MUSI 148 - Band.
