PHRE 189 - Philosophy and Literature This course explores the relations between philosophy and literature through close readings of both literary expressions embedded in philosophical texts and literary texts which focus on traditionally philosophical themes. Issues include: the fundamental nature of reality, human nature and personal identity, and theories of writing and literature.
