PSYC 438 - Queer Psychology The majority of psychology courses approach human behavior and experiences from a heterocentric and gender normative persepctive. This course will be devoted to the lives of sexual and gender minorities: most commonly people who identify as “queer”.
Prerequisite: Grades of “C” or higher in PSYC 166 - General Psychology and PSYC 266 - Experimental Psychology . Credits: 3 NOTE:
* This course counts toward the 63-hour Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) graduation requirement.
