JAPN 340 - Topics in Japanese

Specialized topics unavailable in other courses. Topics include: Japanese culture and sociolinguistics; Japanese linguistics; translation in Japanese; Japanese in mass media; introduction to Japanese literature. Course may be repeated for credit under different topics.

Prerequisite: JAPN 102 - Elementary Japanese II or permission of instructor.
