CS 171 - Introduction to Computer Science II A continuation of Introduction to Computer Science I. This course is designed for those who wish to gain greater programming experience, but who do not plan to pursue a major in computer science. Programming in an object-oriented language, with an emphasis on using built-in classes to perform complex tasks. This course includes studying graphic libraries and collections as well as working with non-textual data.
Prerequisite: CS 170 - Introduction to Computer Science I . Credits: 3 NOTE:
* This course counts toward the 63-credit Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) graduation requirement.
