CMDS 578G - Augmentative & Alternative Communication This course presents an overview of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) with emphasis on computer applications available for the diagnosis and treatment of persons who have communication disorders. Hands-on practice is stressed with applications that are used directly with children and adults during intervention and instruction.
Prerequisite or corequisite: CMDS 480 - Clinical Practice or CMDS 681G - Advanced Clinical Practice . Credits: 2 NOTE:
