NU 310 - Pharmacotherapeutics II The course focuses on basic principles of pharmacology with emphasis on drug classification, drug action, side effects, nursing implications and patient education. Special consideration for clinical application of drug theraphy using the nursing process as well as integration of content relevant to culture/ethnicity, dosage calculations, laboratory values and basic pathophysiology are included.
Prerequisite: CHEM 100 - Chemistry for Contemporary Living or CHEM 130 - Chemical Principles I ; BIOL 353 - Pathophysiology is prerequisite or co-requisite, minimum grade of “C”. Credits: 3 When Offered: (Fall & Spring) NOTE:
