CS 640G - Computer Security Fundamentals This course provides a broad introduction to the theory and practice of information security. Students learn by investigating a variety of topics in the CIA (confidentiality, integrity, and availability) triad including system vulnerabilities, cryptography, risk management, and legal, ethical, and privacy issues. Students develop skills necessary to formulate and address the security needs of enterprise and personal environments.
