ES 364 - Prevention and Treatment of Activity and Sport Injuries Students will develop knowledge of the basic treatment and rehabilitation techniques. Students will know how to perform skills such as protective equipment fitting, basic taping, spine boarding, and proper fitting of crutches. Students will develop knowledge on substance abuse, medication use and abuse, pre-participation examination, and prevention programs. Students will understand the health care team, the healing process, and adolescent athlete concerns.
Prerequisites: ES 224 - Research Methods and Data Interpretation and Exercise Science major. Credit(s): 3
