MUSI 307 - Jazz Combos, Upper Division

Ensemble dedicated to jazz music utilizing an instrumentation of three to eight musicians. Studies include a wide range of repertoire, while developing deeper knowledge of intermediate to advanced form and theory. There will be an emphasis placed on improvisation and group interaction. Participation is by audition. Music major Applied Music course. May be repeated for up to six credits.

Prerequisites: Music major (BA Music (General), BA Music Pre-Certification, BA Music Liberal Arts, BS Music Therapy, or BM Music Performance with Emphasis Groups.)
