MUSI 306 - Jazz Ensemble, Upper Division

Advanced ensemble dedicated to jazz music utilizing big band instrumentation. Repertoire ranges from early styles to new compositions. Participation is by audition. Tours annually. Music major Applied Music course. May be repeated for up to six credits.

Prerequisites: Music major (BA Music (General), BA Music Pre-Certification, BA Music Liberal Arts, BS Music Therapy, or BM Music Performance with Emphasis Groups.)
