MUSI 303 - Percussion Ensemble, Upper Division

This ensemble focuses on historical and current literature written expressly for percussion instruments or percussion written in a featured chamber environment with other musicians. The principal objective of this ensemble is to provide an aesthetic and educational experience with chamber performance practice through challenging percussion literature utilizing both common and uncommon percussion instruments and the techniques necessary to perform them. Music major Applied Music course. May be repeated for up to six credits.

Prerequisites: Music major (BA Music (General), BA Music Pre-Certification, BA Music Liberal Arts, BS Music Therapy, or BM Music Performance with Emphasis Groups.)
