ENG 605G - Introduction to Graduate Studies This course will help students navigate what it means to be a graduate student - academically and personally - with an emphasis on career exploration. Students will learn about the expectations of academic and professional cultures; the core components of graduate-level, original research and the public purpose of English Studies research; core components of career exploration with a focus on careers that draw on the theories, methods, experiences, and skills associated with graduate work in English Studies; and ways to pursue a healthy life as graduate students.
