LDRS 673G - Leadership Project

In tandem with LDRS 690G - Capstone Seminar , students completing the Master of Arts in Leadership Degree requirements choose among three culminating experiences - an Internship, a Thesis, or an applied capstone project. The student should discuss whether the capstone should be completed during LDRS 673G - Leadership Project or following this course.

A culminating project builds a connection between the academic components of the program and applies that knowledge to a real-world context. It requires an independently produced deliverable (e.g. technical manual, website, needs assessment study, diversity training seminar curriculum, etc.) that has a function within an organization and can either target an actual workplace need or serve as an exercise in gaining experience. Culminating projects are aimed at two audiences: a client/workplace audience with an established need and the faculty member overseeing the project.

A total of 6 credit hours is required. Students may enroll for 3 or 6 credits per term, repeatable.

Credit(s): 3
When Offered: Independent Study
