ENG 611G - Thesis Hours

MA English students undertaking the thesis option (as opposed to the portfolio option) must register for a total of 4 credits of ENG 611G, working under the supervision of a graduate faculty member to produce a substantial, polished written project demonstrating aesthetic appreciation and strong analytical skills, whether the thesis is critical, creative, or a hybrid of the two. Although it is possible to complete this culminating project in a single semester, many students prefer to split that effort across two or more semesters. Thus, ENG 611G may be elected for 1-4 credits, and repeated as needed to total 4 credits.

Prerequisite: Permission of the thesis director.
