ES 608G - Management of Instruction: Exercise Science (Physical Education/Health Pedagogy) This course investigates the techniques of effective teaching and relationships between teacher and learner. The course is designed to allow the pre-intern teacher in the Master of Arts in Education to gain practical knowledge and experience necessary for becoming an effective instructor of physical education and health. The purpose is to provide students with an understanding of how to systematically structure learning experiences in physical education and health. Students will develop practical skills and procedures to plan for effective management and instruction.
Prerequisites: ED 389 - Foundations of Education , ED 394 - Experiences in Classroom Teaching , (ED 394 - Experiences in Classroom Teaching or concurrent enrollment), AND MAE: Exercise Science graduate status. Credit(s): 3
