PHYS 310 - Intermediate Laboratory The Intermediate Physics Laboratory course introduces students to the fundamentals of experimental design, measurement, data analysis, error analysis, and laboratory record keeping. In this course students also learn the basics of hardware and/or software involved in computer interfacing. Students perform experiments from different parts of physics, including Optics, Mechanics, Nuclear, Electricity and Magnetism, and/or Solid-state physics.
Prerequisites: A grade of ‘C’ or better in PHYS 196 - Physics II OR (PHYS 186 - College Physics II and PHYS 191 - Calculus for Physics II ) OR equivalent. Credit(s): 2 When Offered: Spring
