BIOL 322 - Principles of Human Physiology


Principles of Human Physiology investigates the mechanisms of homeostatic control, communication, and response and adaptation of the human body at the levels of organism, organ systems, organs, cells, and molecules. Examples used throughout the class relate to health, nutrition, exercise, and other human endeavors. This course, BIOL 315 - Animal Physiology  OR BIOL 330 - Cell Biology  OR BIOL 332 - Plant Physiology  is required as a core elective for all Biology majors. Students are encouraged to delay enrollment until after completing the Biology core courses.

Prerequisites: BIOL 300 - Genetics  with a grade of ‘C’ or better AND CHEM 131 - Chemical Principles II .
