MS 403 - Army Nurse Summer Training Program

This course will provide application of the science of human caring through comprehensive practice in the discipline of nursing in one of more than 20 military treatment facilities (MTF) across the US Army in the US or abroad. Selection process with US Army will determine the exact location. The focus will be illness, illness prevention, and/or health promotion for individuals, families, groups, and communities through selected clinical experiences in a variety of settings in collaboration with designated mentor and selected professional nurse (RN) preceptor(s). Clinical practicum is the equivalent of approximately 150 hours.

Registration Restrictions: Student must be a declared Nursing Major AND a contracted Cadet with the Military Service Department.
