ART 445 - Art Capstone Experience I In the first of two culminating capstone courses for B.F.A. Studio majors, students will write and revise an artist statement, prepare research-based writing in their discipline, and write and revise the core of their capstone paper. The course will involve cross-disciplinary critiques, writing workshops that include peer and instructor feedback, interdisciplinary critical reading and discussion, and professional development.
Credit(s): 3 Prerequisite(s): Level IV Course in any studio area of emphasis - one of the following: ART 405 - Ceramics IV , ART 407 - Fibers IV , ART 413 - Photography IV , ART 416 - Sculpture IV , ART 417 - Printmaking IV , or ART 418 - Painting IV .
