MUSI 337 - Jazz Arranging and Composition Study of arranging and composition for small jazz ensembles. This will include fundamentals of notation, orchestration, rhythmic and melodic development, jazz harmony, vertical sonorities for 2-5 parts, and basic forms. May be repeated for credit.
Prerequisites: MUSI 130, 131, 132, 133, and sophomore status or above. Credits: 2 hours When Offered: (offered fall, odd years)
