ED 675G - Mentoring Initial Educators Being a mentor for interns is a time-consuming and extremely important role. This course is designed to give mentors knowledge and skills for induction of preservice teachers. Mentors will learn how to evaluate interns, engage in action research cycles with their interns, discuss best practices, learn response to intervention for diverse learners, discuss professional development opportunities including Professional Learning Communities, and learn cognitive coaching.
