BIOL 349 - Writing About Biology The general goal of this course is the development of writing and thinking skills in the context of a particular biological subject. As a writing-enhanced course, the goals of the course correspond to the three main goals of all writing-enhanced courses at Truman State University: cognition, process, and product. This course may be used as a biology elective for biology majors.
Prerequisites: A student must meet the prerequisite requirements for the BIOL elective course in which they are enrolling and must be a biology major. Co-requisite: Concurrent enrollment in a 300-, 400-, or 500-level BIOL elective course. Credits: 1 hour NOTE: This is a writing-enhanced course.
NOTE: This course counts toward the 63-hour Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) graduation requirement.
