ART 325 - Modern Art An examination of Modernism in European and American painting and sculpture from the middle part of the 19th Century to 1940 (media other than painting and sculpture will be discussed when pertinent). The course focuses on the themes, theories, and techniques of critics that led to the many changes in styles during this period.
Credits: 3 hours Art History course.
NOTE: This course fulfills the Aesthetic: Fine Arts Mode of Inquiry of the Liberal Studies Program.
