ITAL 101 - Elementary Italian I Basic grammatical structures, vocabulary, idioms, and accurate pronunciation are presented and practiced in communicative contexts. Emphasis on speaking, and aural comprehension, and writing. Three classroom hours per week plus one peer learning session and one laboratory hour per week are required.
Credits: 3 hours NOTE: Successful completion of ITAL 101 and the continuing course ITAL 102 fulfills the Foreign Language Interconnecting Perspective of the Liberal Studies Program.
NOTE: This course counts toward the 63-hour Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) graduation requirement.
