MUSI 349 - Cantoria, Upper Division

Advanced mixed choral ensemble with frequent local and regional performances. Study of repertoire from Renaissance to the present with special emphasis on diverse a cappella literature and stylistically informed performance. By audition. May be repeated for credit. Student must pass jury examination into upper division on his/her major instrument.

Prerequisites: 4 hours of MUSI 145, 146, 147, or 148.
Credits: 1 hour
Music major Applied Music course.
NOTE: This course counts toward the 63-hour Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) graduation requirement.
