EUR 308 - The Art of History This course teaches how social, political, religious, and economic power is reflected in the art and architecture of Italy and Germany, and how recurring themes change over the millennia from the foundation of Republican Rome (c.a. 509 BC) through Nazi Germany.
Credits: 6 hours NOTE: This course counts toward the 63-hour Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) graduation requirement.
NOTE: This course fulfills the Intercultural Interconnecting Perspective of the Liberal Studies Program.
