COUN 664G - Theories and Techniques of Counseling


The primary focus of this course is for the student to develop an in depth understanding of the major counseling theories and interventions utilized in clinical practice. The student will build skills in critiquing, evaluating, and applying these theories. In addition, the appropriateness of each theory for multicultural settings will be examined.

Prerequisite: Admission to the Counseling program.
Credits: 3 hours
