JINS 334 - Geometry of the Universe


In this course students will explore our evolving perceptions of the nature and origins of the universe from scientific, philosophical, and historical perspectives. The concepts of space, time, and infinity will be particularly emphasized.

Prerequisites: fulfillment of the Mathematics Essential Skills requirement of the LSP and junior status.
Credits: 3 hours
NOTE: This course fulfills the Junior Interdisciplinary Writing-Enhanced Seminar Interconnecting Perspective of the Liberal Studies Program.
NOTE: This course counts toward the 63-hour Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) graduation requirement.
