MATH 400 - Methods of Optimization A study of optimization techniques applied to industrial and economic problems. The course will cover linear programming, search techniques, integer programming, nonlinear programming, and additional topics.
Prerequisites: grades of “C” or better in MATH 263 and (MATH 357 or MATH 285). Recommended: MATH 264. Credits: 3 hours NOTE: Honors Scholar Course.
NOTE: This course counts toward the 63-hour Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) graduation requirement.
