MUSI 655G - Literature and Pedagogy of Piano

An overview of solo piano literature from the works of Bach through the works of Bartok. A survey of method books, teaching literature, and pedagogical techniques for the beginning and intermediate student. An emphasis will be placed upon pedagogy of performance practice.
