HIST 320 - American Intellectual History, 1600-1865 This course traces major ideas and themes in American thought from the colonization of New England to the Civil War, with a focus on political theory, philosophy, and theology and an emphasis on the intellectual biographies of the men and women who advanced arguments in these fields of thought.
Credits: 3 NOTE: Honors Scholar Course.
NOTE: History major United States History course.
NOTE: This course counts toward the 63-credit Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) graduation requirement.
