COMM 240 - Principles of Communication This course surveys a variety of perspectives and traditions within the communication discipline. Focusing on message construction, consumption and analysis, students learn of critical, humanistic and social scientific frameworks. Students are able to: define key terms and perspectives within the discipline, recognize the traditions within the discipline, and intelligently discuss the basic issues surrounding human interaction and communication.
