ECON 200 - Principles of Macroeconomics This course is an introduction to terms, tools, and concepts that are basic to macroeconomic analysis. Specifically, it models the determination of an economy’s aggregate income, output, employment, prices, and interest rates. It further examines how fiscal and monetary policies work and how they may be used to reach socially desirable outcomes. Students who need to take both Principles of Microeconomics and Principles of Macroeconomics may fill the requirement either by taking ECON 200 & , or .
