LING 308 - Principles of Second Language Teaching Credits: 4 OR CML 308 - Principles of Second Language Teaching Credits: 3
LING 412 - Practicum: Teaching English as a Second/Foreign Language Credits: 4

One of the following:

LING 324 - Topics in Sociolinguistics Credits: 4
LING 325 - Language and Gender Credits: 4
LING 401 - Undergraduate Readings in Linguistics Credits: 1 to 4
LING 413 - Advanced Linguistics: Topics Credits: 4
LING 414 - Language and the Mind Credits: 4
LING 451 - Internship for Linguistics Credits: 1 to 4
LING 452 - Internship Evaluation Credits: 1 to 3
CHN 550 - EFL Internship: Teaching Conversational English as a Foreign Language in China Credits: 12

Students may double-count one course from this minor toward their major or toward a second minor.

No grade of “D” is accepted toward the Applied Linguistics Minor.
