Computer Science Minor

Program Requirements:

The Computer Science Minor requires the successful completion of 19 credits of the following courses or their equivalents, at least 9 of which must be taken at Truman State University.

Required Courses:

• CS 180 - Foundations of Computer Science I Credits: 4
• CS 181 - Foundations of Computer Science II Credits: 3
• CS 260 - Object-Oriented Programming and Design Credits: 3

Elective Courses:

• Additional 9 credits from CS courses. These courses must be selected from courses that are required or elective for the CS major, and numbered 191 and above, with the exception that one of the courses can be CS 170 . At least 6 credits must be numbered 300 or above
