Program Requirements:
This interdisciplinary minor requires at least 17 credits. Of these, at least 9 must be at the 300 level or above. Students need to satisfy prerequisites wherever they exist and additionally need permission of the Minor Oversight Committee before choosing to use a course marked with two asterisks (**) to fulfill a requirement in the minor.
Required Courses
Students must complete either (a) a folklore-related capstone in their home major, (b) an independent, mentored, folklore capstone project, or (c) a for-credit internship in a folklore-related field.
Students must also complete the following Area I – Theory and Methodology
