Greek Minor

Program Requirements:

The Greek Minor requires the successful completion of at least 15 credits of the following courses:

a) Three Greek courses numbered 200 and above; and
b) Two of the following courses:

• any additional 300-level course(s) in Greek language
• ART 328 - The Art of Greece and Rome Credits: 3
• CLAS 205 - Topics in Classical Culture Credits: 3
• CLAS 261 - Greek Literature in Translation Credits: 3
• CLAS 310 - Classical Antiquity on Screen Credits: 3
• CLAS 342 - Greek Civilization Credits: 3
• CLAS 361 - Greek and Roman Mythology Credits: 3
• CLAS 363 - Women and Gender in Antiquity Credits: 3
• COMM 390 - Classical Rhetoric Credits: 3
• GRE 300 - Sacred Sites in Greece Credits: 6
• GRE 301 - The Sacred Feminine: Goddesses and Mortal Women in Ancient Greece Credits: 3
• HIST 342 - Ancient Greece Credits: 4
• PHRE 336 - Classical Greek Philosophy Credits: 3

Note:

No grade of “D” is accepted toward the Greek Minor.

A maximum of two courses (up to 8 credit hours) may double count for this minor and any other minor or major.
