Public Administration Minor

Students pursue the principles of public administration and policy-making while acquiring additional skills and insight necessary to be well-prepared for whatever career they choose. Truman’s rigorous academic program stresses critical thinking, analytical reading, problem solving, careful research, and effective writing and communication.
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS:
- A 2.00 GPA in minor requirements.
- At least nine hours of the program requirements must be completed at Truman State University.
- A minimum of 19 credits in minor courses as required unless the major is Political Science and International Relations. The Notes section below specifies the additional credit rules for Political Science and International Relations majors.

Program Requirements:
The Public Administration Minor requires the successful completion of 19 credits of the following courses:
Electives: 10 Credits
Select 3 courses from Political Science and International Relations and/or the following list of non-political science course which count as electives toward the completion of the Public Administration Minor:
Notes:
Political Science and International Relations majors wanting to receive the Public Administration Minor may not count courses toward their major as applying to the minor. Eighteen additional credits beyond the major are required. Double counting of core courses is appropriate.
