Sociology Minor

As a sociology minor, students study interactions and connections among institutions, organizations, groups and individuals and develop an understanding of how they work together in society.
Through the scientific study of society and human behavior, they learn about the major theories of sociology and examine the role social institutions, groups, organizations, gender, race, and social class play.
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS:
- A 2.00 GPA in minor requirements.
- At least nine hours of the program requirements must be completed at Truman State University.
- A minimum of 15 credits in minor courses.
- Sociology/Anthropology majors wanting to receive the Anthropology or Sociology Minor may not count courses toward their major as applying to the minor.
