Criminal Justice Studies Minor

The Criminal Justice Studies Minor helps students with curiosity about the system of justice and who want to become a more informed and better citizen. The minor in Criminal Justice Studies complements any major offered at Truman and any career path you choose. Students will learn the components of the justice system and the causation of crime.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS:

  1. A 2.00 GPA in minor requirements.
  2. At least nine hours of the program requirements must be completed at Truman State University.
  3. The successful completion of 15 credits.

Program Requirements: 15 Credits


Required Courses: 6 Credits


Choose 3 Additional Courses: 9 Credits


Choose any 3 additional Criminal Justice Studies courses (JUST 200-JUST 499). A maximum of 3 credits in JUST 417 - Internship in Criminal Justice & Legal Studies  may be counted towards the minor, with departmental approval.
