Animal science encompasses the study of domestic animals including livestock and companion animals. This Animal Science minor introduces students to the field of animal science, specifically focusing on the science and management of domestic animals and their interactions with humans.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS:

A 2.0 GPA in minor requirements.
At least nine hours of the program requirements must be completed at Truman State University.

Program Requirements:

The Animal Science Minor is available to students completing any degree, including a B.S. in Agricultural Science. Students completing a B.S. in Agricultural Science may use up to 16 credits toward satisfying their major requirements (including AGSC electives and area of specialization) and the Animal Science Minor.

The Animal Science Minor requires the successful completion of 16 credits.
