English Minor

The English minor requires the successful completion of 15 semester hours from courses approved for the BA English major.  At least half the coursework must be completed at the 300-level or higher and at least 9 hours must be in courses with an ENG prefix.  One English course counted in the Aesthetic-Literature Mode of Inquiry of the Liberal Studies Program may also be included in the minor.  ENG 152, ENG 154 and ENG 190 do not fulfill the requirements of the English major or minor.

Courses for the English minor must be completed with at least a 2.0 GPA.  No grade of “D” will be accepted toward the English minor.
