Latin Minor

Program Requirements:

The Latin Minor requires the successful completion of 15 semester hours of the following courses: a) Three Latin language courses numbered 251 or above; and b) Two of the following related courses:

• any additional 300-level course(s) in Latin language

• ART 328 - The Art of Greece and Rome Credits: 3 hours
• CLAS 262 - Roman Literature in Translation Credits: 3 hours
• CLAS 361 - Greek and Roman Mythology Credits: 3 hours
• CLAS 362 - Classical Civilization Credits: 3 hours
• CLAS 363 - Women and Gender in Antiquity Credits: 3 hours
• COMM 390 - Classical Rhetoric Credits: 3 hours
• HIST 343 - Ancient Rome Credits: 3 hours

Note:

No grade of “D” will be accepted toward the Latin Minor.
