Program Requirements:
The Political Communication Minor prepares students to enter the world of political campaigns and political consulting. The minor is designed to give students a background in the theories of communication and political science, the structures of government and campaigns, and skills in message construction and persuasion; all elements necessary for work in political campaigns. The Political Communication Minor is a 15-credit minor, 12 credits of which should be completed at the 300-level or higher. Courses in the minor cannot double count in the Communication or Political Science majors. Students should meet the Missouri Statute Requirement with either: Choose two of the following courses from Political Science:
