English Minor

The English minor requires the successful completion of 15 credits from courses approved for the BA English major including:

• ENG 209 - Applying Literary Theory
    Credits: 3. 

At least half the coursework must be completed at the 300-level or higher and at least 9 credits must be in courses with an ENG prefix.  One English course counted in the Aesthetic-Literature Mode of Inquiry of the Liberal Studies Program may also be included in the minor.  ENG 152, ENG 154 and ENG 190 do not fulfill the requirements of the English minor.

Courses for the English minor must be completed with at least a 2.0 GPA.  No grade of “D” is accepted toward the English minor.
