PDAT 626G - Practicum in Data Storytelling


Practical experience using real world data to tell a data-driven story in multiple presentation styles to a variety of expert and non-expert audiences. Students will explore several datasets of increasing complexity to explore pitfalls and demonstrating increasing facility telling data stories.

Prerequisites: PDAT 613G - Data Mining , PDAT 622G - Narrative, Argument, and Persuasion in Data Science , and PDAT 624G - Principles of Design in Data Visualization .
