LING 498 - Linguistics Capstone Seminar Students in this class compile their major and graduation portfolios, reflecting on how they have achieved their program outcomes, and how these relate to their graduation outcomes. They publicly present either a research capstone project (and submit the associated APA-style reserach paper) (strongly encouraged for those applying to graduate school) or a reflection of what they learned in a service learning, internship, and/or public-facing digital humanities linguistics project in a presentation that includes visual artifacts of their experience.
Prerequisites: Completion LING 398 - Linguistics Mid-Major Seminar with a grade of ‘C’ or better.
Pre- or Concurrent Enrollment: LING 414 - Language and the Mind with a grade of ‘C’ or better. Credit(s): 1 Course Attribute(s):
- This is a writing-enhanced course.
- This course counts toward the 63-credit Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) graduation requirement.
