CHEM 329 - Organic Chemistry I


Fundamental organic chemistry including nomenclature, synthesis, stereochemistry, reaction mechanisms on a molecular level, theoretical aspects of chemical bonding, and introductory chemical phenomena through alcohols.

Prerequisite: CHEM 121.
Credits: 3 hours
When Offered: (offered fall, spring)
NOTE: General Honors Course in conjunction with CHEM 330 or CHEM 333.
NOTE: This course counts toward the 63-hour Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) graduation requirement.
